I found this on Howard Lake’s UK fundraising website, and it makes me happy to see so many people online and connecting. This is certainly a case for your cause to be using social media. Whether it’s SecondLife, SMS fundraising, Facebook, e-newsletters, or Twitter, if this is where people are, this is where you can fundraise.
Wouldn’t it be interesting to see a similar running tally of how much money is raised every second worldwide by letter appeals, events, corporate sponsorships, foundation grants, individual gifts, major gifts, etc?
