Looking to transition into nonprofit work? Nonprofit Job Club meeting tomorrow!

If you’re in Austin, and are looking into the nonprofit job field, we’ve got a meeting tomorrow that I think you’ll really like. It’s Tuesday, 6/8/10 at 5:30pm at Howson Library, 2500 Exposition.

We’re going to be talking about transferable skills.

So whether you’ve been a writer, an accountant, a plumber, a massage therapist, a substitute teacher, a fisherman, or something else, we’re going to help you name your skills, your stories that illustrate these skills, and how you can transfer these to the nonprofit world.

We’re also going to be looking at some job descriptions for nonprofit jobs, to show how your skills concretely translate to actual positions.

Hope to see you there!

And if you want to see what we have coming up, just check the “Free Stuff” section of the website here.
