So I was on Get Satisfaction yesterday and they had this infographic that was supposed to show you all of these little things that community managers are supposed to do and be, and had this picture of this guy who looks like he’s about to cry, who was supposed to be a combination of a punching bag/unicorn/sponge (read the captions, WE ARE NOT AMUSED)

and I just thought,

HEY!!! That wussy white dude may be a punching bag, but I don’t want him to stand for all community managers! I mean seriously, when is violence ever called for? So, to even up the playing field a bit, I made this!

I made “Inside the Mind of a Kickass Community Manager”

So next time someone thinks you’re supposed to cheerlead, sit down and shut up and take one for the team as a social media manager or community manager, show them this infographic instead.
