Pam Grow has put together a fantastic post about what foundation directors want. It’s a video. From 501videos. And I love it because;
1. It talks about how foundation directors like to see a good relationship between the executive director of the nonprofit and the development director.
I do not usually see this. Do you?
2. It talks about how the nonprofit has to be doing some metrics and financial oversight.
In some nonprofits, this just NEVER happens.
3. It talks about how board giving has to be 100%, no exceptions, otherwise the foundation thinks that the nonprofit does not have the support of the community, that it’s on shaky ground.
