		<description>No. I have not. I recall saying something similar to my dad when he asked why I chose to major in philosophy rather than something practical. I told him I was going to college for an education, not for job training. Man, was I an idiot!  :-)</description>

		<description>Good post. Thanks. I&#039;m fairly new with blogging and started it mainly as a way to assist with my novel writing. I thought the world needed more Pratchett-like books and wanted to see what I could do to provide some. Sadly I&#039;m no Pratchett (Who is?) but I do my best. But as for your question, my degree (in Philosophy) did, I think, help me to be able to think objectively and recognize knowledge from belief and facts from assumptions. Did it help with my paying career? Yes. Does it help with my novel writing? Certainly.</description>
